INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL (IIPC) 

Rajadhani Institute of Science & Technology constituted Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) on 21st April 2018 for enhancing the relationship between the college and industry. Delegates representing 32 different industries have participated in the inaugural ceremony. A panel discussion was conducted on the topic “Leveraging the Industry Expectations to Enhance Academic Standards”. This cell will identify the industrial expectation and promotes institutional preparation for meeting industrial needs by facilitating sponsored projects, seminars, workshops and various other industrial training programmes. The cell will also provide a platform for both the students as well as faculty members to be aware of industry expectations of skill sets required for students and faculty to meet the global challenges. The cell organizes industrial visits, industrial training, seminars, workshops, technical talks etc. 

Policy for Industrial Visits and Internships: 

Students are expected to undertake industrial training(s) of total 7 days minimum duration or industrial visits (to minimum 2 industries) for studying about the industries of importance to the branch concerned during 3rd to 7th semester. Students may also undertake an educational tour, the tour period shall be considered as part of the working periods of a semester. The tour maybe conducted during the vacation/holidays taking not more than 2 working days, combined with the vacation/holidays if required, between 5th and 8th semesters for visiting industries (at least two) of importance to the branch concerned. Faculty members shall accompany the students for the industrial visits/educational tour. Each student shall submit detailed bound report(s) of the training/visit/tour to the Head of Department within two weeks after the programme. These bound report(s), signed by the staff advisor or faculty in charge of tour/training/visit and by the head of department, shall also be brought during the final Viva-Voce.

  • Human resource development programmes by the faculty for practicing engineers.
  • Workshops, conferences and symposia with joint participation of the faculty and the industries.
  • Short-term assignment to faculty members in industries.
  • Visiting faculty/professors from industries.
  • Professorial Chairs sponsored by industries at the Institute.
  • R&D Laboratories sponsored by industries at the Institute.
  • Scholarships/fellowships instituted by industries at the Institute for students.
  • Practical training of students in industries.
  • To assist the industry in the selection of suitable candidates to fill up the job positions through campus interviews.
